NbOCl2 is a semiconductor 2D material and predicted to be a stable ferroelectric above RT. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers.
The NbOCl2 crystals produced at HQ Graphene have a typical lateral size of ~0.5cm and have a black metallic appearance.
